I am very pleased to announce that Fort Transfer recently
received a SATISFACTORY rating from the Department of Transportation
(DOT). The compliance audit was conducted at Fort Transfer’s
Morton, Illinois corporate office. The audit included all
terminals. This is the highest rating that can be achieved.
A
DOT audit is conducted by checking six different factors as
follows:
1.
General.
2. Driver Qualifications.
3. Operational Driving (logs).
4. Vehicle Maintenance.
5. Hazardous Materials.
6. Accidents.
Each
of the above factors is assigned a rating of either Satisfactory,
Conditional or Unsatisfactory. A formula is then used to determine
the total overall rating of the six factors. Fort Transfer
received a Satisfactory rating for all six factors, which
gave us the overall rating of SATISFACTORY.
Fort
Transfer is committed to providing outstanding service to
our customers and maintaining excellent safety standards.
We are "The Driving Force For A Safer Environment"
and work hard to maintain our SATISFACTORY rating with DOT.
This can only be achieved through the efforts of our employees
to meet the many requirements of regulatory agencies and our
own high standards. We thank our employees for their professionalism,
teamwork and cooperation in meeting the challenges presented
to them daily and congratulate them on a job well done.

Employees are the Fundamental Strength of Our Business"
